We are glad to announce a new collaboration with the EUROPESURE Insurance, one of the first brands offering a COVID-19 Medical and Repatriation Expenses optional policy extension, which includes some Cancellation cover.

When your customer purchases the COVID-19 extension they will have

Prior To Travelling :

* Cancellation cover up to £/€ 1,500 per insured person if they are diagnosed and hospitalised with COVID-19 up to 28 days before their trip (Excess £/€100)

Whist Travelling :

* Medical, Repatriation and Funeral Expenses if they catch COVID-19 whilst on a trip up to the limits and excesses chosen under Section 2 of the policy

These covers are subject to the standard terms and conditions of the policy.

The optional policy extension is available for Single trips at the time of purchase and Annual Multi Trip policyholders can purchase it at any time during the validity period of the policy for any or every trip they take.

We re-iterate an example of how it would work:-

Mr Jones who is 68, lives in Spain and he has a Europesure Annual Multi-trip policy for the period 1st July 2020 to 30th June 2021.He has plans to visit his daughter in Singapore for 17 days from 5th October.

Assuming he is allowed to travel by the local authorities, he buys the COVID-19 policy extension at least 28 days before he is due to go (September 8th) at a cost of £/€ 16.31 (plus IPT) with cover to start from 5th October.

The COVID-19 Cancellation cover will start from the date he purchases the extension. Between 8th September - 5th October he will be covered for Cancellation of the trip up to £/€1,500 per person if he is hospitalised with COVID-19.

When he goes on his trip, for the 17 days he is in Singapore he will have cover for medical treatment, repatriation and funeral expenses, if necessary, if he contracts the virus, up to the limits he has chosen in Section 2 of his Annual policy.
